The number of 50/50 Plus™ tickets that can be sold is unlimited because there is no limit to the number a customer can purchase. The 50/50 Plus™ ticket total will be determined by the number sold by the lottery’s final cut-off date or early sell-out date.

Only 156,000 Big Score Plus™ tickets will be offered for sale.

No, you must buy one of the 2021 Mega Million Choices Main ticket packages to be eligible to purchase a 50/50 Plus™ or Big Score Plus™ ticket.

Yes, 50/50 Plus™ and Big Score Plus™ tickets are available for purchase by any main ticket purchaser throughout the program. The add-on 50/50 Plus™ and Big Score Plus™ tickets will only be accepted online at www.purchases.stbmegamillionchoices.ca/top-up or by phone at 1-855-256-7203 after the initial purchase and must be purchased by the ticket deadline. All add-on purchasers will require their initial order number and postal code to add-on to their order. Purchases will be in the name of the original ticket purchaser and will be mailed to the address on the original main ticket purchase.

The 50/50 PLUS™ can generate a maximum of $2,100,000 in gross revenue, the winner will receive 50% of gross revenue to a maximum of $1,050,000. The 50/50 PLUS™ minimum prize guarantee is $150,000.

For the month of April 2021, there will be four (4) Big Score Plus™ daily winners of $1,000 Cash each for a total of 116 winners.

There will be four (4) Big Score Final Plus™ Winners of $10,000 each.

Cut-off date for ticket sales is Midnight Thursday March 18, 2021. The Big Score Plus™ and Final Draws will take place on Thursday April 6, 2021 at 10:00 a.m.

In the event that the 2021 Mega Million Choices Lottery Main tickets sell out before midnight, Thursday March 4, 2021, the draws for the Big Score Plus™ will take place on Friday March 19, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Boniface Hospital Room C1026 409 Taché Ave., Winnipeg, MB. It is the responsibility of the ticket buyer to ensure the mailing address on their ticket order form is correct. The buyer is responsible for distributing any prizes in the event of a group purchase winning.

You do not need your ticket(s) to claim your prize. Your name, address and phone number is recorded in the database along with your ticket(s) number. All winners receive a prize notification letter in the mail.

Draws are conducted in accordance with the Liquor, Gaming and Cannabis Authority of Manitoba.

All prize winners will be notified by mail as to what they have won and where/how to claim their prize(s).

Cash prizes will be mailed in cheque format to the mailing address on the winner’s ticket.

All winners will be required to present their prize notification letter along with a piece of Government issued picture identification when picking up prizes.

The winner of the Loyalty Bonus Draw # 1 will have up to 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday February 24, 2021 to make their selection of their choice options. If notification has not been given to the Foundation by then a cheque will be mailed out to the winner for the cash option value.

The winners of the Ultimate Bonus Draws # 2 will have up to 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday March 10, 2021 to make their selection of their choice options. If notification has not been given to the Foundation by then a cheque will be mailed out to the winners for the cash option value.

The winner of the Early Bird Draw # 3 will have up to 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday March 31, 2021 to make their selection of their choice options. If notification has not been given to the Foundation by then a cheque will be mailed out to the winner for the cash option value. Title transfer of the Condo located at 202-1505 Molson Street in Winnipeg, MB would be on or before May 1, 2021 should that choice be taken.

The winners of draws 3029 to 3035 will have up to 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday April 20, 2021 to make their selection of their choice options. If notification has not been given to the Foundation by then a cheque will be mailed out to the winners for the cash option value.

Winners of the Gift Card or Cash option prizes Draws 29-3028 will have up to 12:00 p.m. on Monday June 7, 2021 to make their selection. If notification has not been given to the Foundation by then a cheque will be mailed out to the winners for the cash option value.

All unclaimed prizes become property of the Foundation after a period of three months.

Lottery Customer Relations will follow-up with one phone call or email after the initial prize notification letter has been sent out to try and contact those who have not claimed their prizes after 2 months.

Winning ticket holders can request to donate their prize to the Foundation in exchange for a tax receipt equal to advertised retail value of the prize.

Cash prizes will be mailed in cheque format. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to ensure the mailing address on their ticket is correct.

If requested, prizes will be mailed out to out of town residents.

If someone other than the winner is claiming a non-Cash prize on the winner’s behalf, the winner must provide written and signed authorization along with the original prize-winning letter and a copy of his/her picture identification.

Lottery winnings are considered a windfall and not taxable in Canada.

Members of the Board of Directors and employees of the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation, employees’ household members, and members of licensed gaming suppliers providing services to this program are prohibited from purchasing tickets in the 2021 Mega Million Choices Lottery.

Proceeds from the 2021 Mega Million Choices Lottery are used by the St. Boniface Hospital to provide quality health care and facilitate world-class health research and patient care at the St. Boniface Hospital and Albrechtsen Research Centre.

The 2021 Mega Million Choices Lottery provides the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation with a much-needed revenue stream that allows us to fund patient care programs and research activities. The lottery is self-supporting. Ticket sales generate enough revenue to not only cover the entire cost of running the lottery (i.e. prizes, etc.,) but they also provide additional revenues that are then directed to meet the needs the needs of the St. Boniface Hospital.

All private information collected during running this lottery is governed by the privacy policies of the St. Boniface Hospital Foundation and the Province of Manitoba.
